▲ About

Traditional fundamentals. Tropical reinterpretations.

Dustin started tattooing in 2014 in Dayton, Ohio. Drawn to the bold imagery of Traditional American style tattoos, he left college to pursue an apprenticeship under his mentor at Tattoo Tech. He spent years working in street shops, gaining experience in various styles — from Traditional Americana to classic Japanese, sacred geometry, and fine-line work.

Now based in Waikiki at Ohana Tattoo, Dustin enjoys working with traditional designs and reinterpreting tropical elements while staying true to the fundamentals of tattooing. He values professionalism, a positive client experience, and the tradition of knowledge-sharing within the tattoo community.

Outside of tattooing, he paints and studies art history, philosophy, and meditation.

The work

Saturated color, sharp linework, holds for years.

American Traditional

The foundation. Bold black outlines, a tight classic palette, and the iconography that built tattooing: eagles, roses, daggers, panthers, anchors. Built to read across the room and hold for forty years.

Trippy Perspective

Traditional drawing language pulled through impossible angles, dimensional plays, and quietly surreal composition. The eye expects one thing; the tattoo gives it another — without ever losing the rules of the craft.

Cover-Ups

Bold lines and the right composition can take over almost anything. Bring the old work — Dustin will draw something that swallows it whole.

Walk-In Flash

Hand-painted flash sheets at Ohana, ready to ink today. Pick from the wall, sit in the chair, walk out within the hour.
